National Conference on “Duy Xuyen in the process of national history”

On the journey of the creation of the Quang land, Duy Xuyen has established historical and cultural values, greatly contributing to the progress of Quang Nam history and the nation's history, becoming the first-class land rich in historical, cultural and traditional values of Quang Nam province. The year 2024 officially marks 420 years (1604-2024) of the birth of the name and the development of Duy Xuyen land. In order to create a forum to publish research findings on historical, cultural, socio-economic and human issues of Duy Xuyen land as well as evaluate Duy Xuyen's position and role in the progress of the nation's history, the People's Committee of Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province, in collaboration with the University of Da Nang - University of Sciencd and Education organizes the National Conference on "“Duy Xuyen in the process of national history”.
1. Conference topicsThe conference aims to publish new research findings on the following topics:
- Geographical features, natural conditions; administrative boundaries and names of Duy Xuyen in the historical process;
- The history of establishment, the organization and place - name of villages and communes; academic tradition; the patriotic tradition and revolutionary struggle of Duy Xuyen land;
- Tangible and intangible cultural heritage values; identification and solutions to preserve and promote the cultural heritage and traditional craft villages of Duy Xuyen land;
- Political, economic, historical, cultural, social and human issues of Duy Xuyen land in the historical process;
- Duy Xuyen's position and role in the nation's historical process.

Scientists, researchers, managers, lecturers, teachers, graduate students, and post-graduate students nationwide.
3. Time and Venue
- Time: 29 - 30/6/2024.
- Venue: People's Committee of Duy Xuyen district, Nam Phuoc town, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province.
4. Deadline for registration and submission
- Deadline for abstracts: by 25/02/2024.
- Deadline for full-text papers: by 10/5/2024.
