Students of the University of Danang - University of Science and Education achieved good results at the 24th Student Scientific Research Award – Euréka in 2022

From November 25, 2022 to November 27, 2022, the Final Round of the 24th Euréka Student Scientific Research Award was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, attracting 119 universities, colleges and institutes nationwide with about 1231 projects of 3728 candidates. The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) was honored to have 02 projects selected for the final round and excellently won 01 third prize and 01 consolation prize.
Student scientific research is considered a key task in the academic year plan of UD-UED. In the academic year 2021-2022, the University's Student Scientific Research activities achieved outstanding achievements with lots of projects winning high prizes at Student Scientific Research Conferences at all levels.
The Student Scientific Research Award – Euréka is a prestigious award for students’ research and creativity hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The award received the companionship from the Agency for Southern Affairs - the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, in the academic year 2021-2022, UD-UED registered 28 projects in the fields of Humanities, Natural Resources and Environment, Engineering Technology, Education, Information Technology, Bio-Biomedical Technology and Chemical - Pharmaceutical Technology. UD-UED was honored to have 02 projects in the final round and won 2 prizes. Specifically:
01 Third Prize: The Student Scientific Research Award – Euréka is a prestigious award for students’ research and creativity hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. - Title of the project: Physical synthesis of Fe2O3/TiO2 and application of decomposition of methylene orange in heterogeneous Fenton- Students: Le Thao Ni, Hoang Thi Hong Uyen

UD-UED students won the Consolation Prize at the 24th Euréka Student Scientific Research Award
The above results once again confirm the improvement in scientific research activities of UD-UED lecturers and students in recent years. Hopefully, in the academic year 2022-2023, UD-UED will continue to achieve more success in different fields and especially in the field of scientific research, making a contribution to the development of the university with a tradition of more than 47 years of building and growth.
