AUN-QA Programme Assessment: Physics Teacher Education Program
On the morning of October 9th, the opening ceremony of the AUN-QA Programme Assessment for 1 training program: Physics Teacher Education Program (the University of Danang - University of Science and Education) and 03 training programs: Architecture, Construction economics, Civil Engineering (the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology) took place at the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology.

Attending the ceremony, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nantana Gajaseni – The acting chairperson of ASEAN Quality Assurance Network AUN-QA; the assessors of AUN from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines; Prof. Dr. Bui Van Ga – Former Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Prof. Tran Van Nam - Former Director of the University of Danang ; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Director of the University of Danang; Assoc.Prof.Dr.Doan Quang Vinh – Rector of University of Science and Technology; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Lưu Trang - Rector of University of Science and Education.
On behalf of University of Science and Education, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice Rector gave a speech on University of Science and Education: the training quality, facilities, cultural, social and sport activities … to the council of ASEAN AUN-QA, the participants and students in the ceremony.
During this assessment period, the AUN-QA team will carry out the following tasks: reviewing the self-assessment report and evidence attached; interviewing the faculty leaders, managing staff, lecturers, support staff, alumni, employers; campus survey on facilities, training and research support, labs,…
In the afternoon, the AUN-QA representatives visited University of Science and Education. The delegation led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice Rector took the AUN-QA representatives to the offices, IT rooms, labs…
The ASEAN AUN-QA council will work for 3 days (9-11/10/2018).
AUN-QA was established in 1998, and since the establishment, AUN-QA has been continuously developing to become a leading quality assurance organization in ASEAN. AUN-QA has performed evaluation of more than 360 programs in seven ASEAN countries.
