Students of the University of Danang - University of Science and Education achieved good results at Da Nang city level Student Research Contest in 2022
From November 30, 2022 to December 03, 2022, the Final Round of Da Nang city level Student Research Contest took place with 33 projects from universities, colleges and institutes in Da Nang. This year, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) was honored to have 09 projects selected for the final round and excellently won 06 prizes: 01 Second place prize, 02 third place prizes and 03 consolation prizes.
For the purpose of encouraging the spirit of scientific research and finding creative solutions by students from universities, colleges, and vocational schools as well as helping to connect creative ideas with business incubators and investors, Danang City Department of Science and Technology cooperated with the Da Nang Youth Union to organize the Danang city level Student Research Contest in 2022. After more than 11 months, there were 123 projects from 13 universities, colleges and vocational schools registering the contest.
For UD-UED, Student scientific research is considered a key task in the academic year plan of the university. Thus, in 2022, implementing the academic year plan and thanks to the close attention and direction of the Board of Rectors, UD-UED had 36 projects in the different fields:  natural science, engineering science and technology, social sciences and humanities registered in the contest. Through the process of selection and evaluation from the Jury, UD-UED had 9 projects selected for the final round.
At the Final Round, which was held from November 30 to December 3, 2022, UD-UED won 6 prizes including: 01 Second Prize, 02 Third Prizes and 03 Consolation prizes.
1. Second Prize: 01 prize
- Project title: Teaching STEM topics towards the development of students' qualities and competences: a case study with the topic "Weather" - Physics 10.
- Group of students: Mai Thi Thu Hien; Pham Van Quoc Hieu; Van Minh School; Le Dinh Khanh Duy; Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong.

2. Third Prize: 02 prizes
Project 1:
- Project title: Research on chemical composition and biological activity of roots of Aralia amatar (Wall.) Seem. of the ginseng family (Araliaceae)

It is hoped that in the academic year 2022-2023, lecturers and students will continue to make efforts to complete research projects during the academic year, register scientific research awards at all levels and bring  good results, contributing to the overall achievement of the university.
