Meeting with Prof. Steve Greenwood, Portland State University, the USA

In order to strengthen international cooperation in training, scientific research as well as the development and implementation of international projects, on the morning of May 19, 2022, the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) had a meeting with Prof. Steve Greenwood, Portland State University, USA.

Attending the meeting, there were the leaders and staff in charge of international cooperation from UD-UED: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan, Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation and MA. Pham Thi Thanh Mai, the staff in the Department of Science and International Cooperation. In the meeting, there was also the participation of Prof. Steve Greenwood, Portland State University and Dr. Le Vinh Trien, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice Rector of the University discussed with Professor Steve Greenwood, Portland State University the issues related to university autonomy, how to innovate university governance, the ways, procedure and management of digital transformation in higher education. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach hoped to receive the help and sharing of Prof. Steve Greenwood, Portland State University in solving the challenges related to the implementation of university autonomy encountered by UD-UED.
Professor Steve Greenwood also expressed his pleasure to work with the University and jointly find out areas of mutual interest for future cooperation possibilities.
