Meeting with The United State Forest Service
On August 18, 2023 The United State Forest Service visited and worked with the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED), thereby opening up cooperation opportunities between the two institutions in the near future.
Attending the meeting, there was the partipation of Mr Zachary Lawrence, Vietnam Program Manager, Mr. Huynh Van Thuong, National Coordinator of the Forest Service, US Department of Agriculture, and the representative of GreenViet.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of Assoc.Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice-Rector, Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan, Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Minh Ly, Dean of Faculty of Biology and Enviromental Science and lecturers from Faculty of Biology and Enviromental Science.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice Rector of UD-UED extended his greetings and expressed the gratittude to the delegation for visiting and working at the University. On behalf of the Board of Rectors, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Xuan Bach made an introduction on the training scale, programs, orientations and training goals of UD-UED, thereby expressing his hope that the University will have the opportunity to cooperate with the US Forest Service in the coming time in training activities and projects related to forestry, biology...

On this occasion, the representative of Faculty of Biology and Enviromental Science, UD-UED also introduced some scientific research projects that lecturers, and students of the Faculty have carried out. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ly, Dean of the Faculty also shared that the Faculty has been carrying out a number of joined researches and projects on biology and environment with international organizations.

Mr. Zachary Lawrence, the Program Manager, US Forest Service especially expressed the gratitude to the university for the warm welcome and hoped that the two units would have the opportunity to cooperate on I – Tree, One Health Project and other strengths in the future.
Dr. Nguyen Minh Ly, Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Enviromental Science made the speech.
After the meeting, the delegation continued to visit the facilities and exchange with the staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Biology and Enviromental Science, UD-UED.
