Visiting Lao Consulate General in Da Nang city on the occasion of Laos’ Traditional New Year - Bunpimay Festival
On the afternoon of April 12, 2022, the delegation of The University of Danang – University of Science and Education (UD-UED) led by Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan – Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation visited the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang to extend greetings to Mr.Viengxay Phongmachanh - Consul General, his wife and all the staff of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang on the occasion of Bunpimay – Laos’ traditional New Year Festival.
At the meeting, the delegation of UD-UED wished Mr.Viengxay Phongmachanh, his wife and all the staff members of the Lao Consulate General as well as their families great health, happiness and success in the new year.
Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan - Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation affirmed the special friendship between the two countries Vietnam – Laos, specifically in the field of education and wished the cooperation between UD-UED and the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang further development and sustainability. UD-UED has been the educational institutions in Vietnam chosen by lots of Lao students, especially those in Central and Southern provinces of Laos.
In return, Consul General Viengxay Phongmachanh expressed his gratitude to UD-UED for supporting Laotian students, and especially organizing the Vietnamese – Lao Culture Festival to celebrate Bunpimay 2022. At the same time, he shared memories of the cooperation including the promotion of the close friendship of both sides, further development of the relationship bringing practical benefits to the students
