Belgian students and memorable experience at UED

After nearly 3 months of internship and participating in activities at The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UED) and primary schools in Da Nang city, students from Odisee University College (Belgium) said they had many interesting experiences and unforgettable memories with UED officials, lecturers and students.
At the closing ceremony of the English course guided by foreigners, students from Odisee University College who are also teachers of these English classes all seemed very attached when they were about to say goodbye to their Vietnamese friends.
Students from UED also took photos, exchanged information to keep in touch and gave their English teachers Vietnamese conical hats as souvenirs.
Emma - one of 4 students at Odisee University College said: really impressed with UED students because they are very hardworking, active and hospitable. Students participated in English classes very fully, enthusiastically and progressed very quickly."

UED students also said that English lessons with teachers who are students from Odisee University College are very interesting. Doan Nguyen Tra Giang, student of class 22SLS, Faculty of History shared, “Our class studies with Emma. As both a friend and a teacher, the classroom atmosphere is always comfortable and exciting. Emma always prepares and invests a lot in each of her lectures. Integrating lessons into games helps us not feel pressured, but on the contrary, feel more confident when communicating and more interested in learning English. We also discussed interesting things about the two countries Vietnam - Belgium as well as learned about the cultures of the continents.”

A group of Odisee University College students and instructors received internship certificates.
Within the framework of cooperation between UED and Odisee University College (Belgium), every year UED accepts students from Odisee University College for internships, exchange , and support internship guidance at primary schools in Da Nang city. In the academic year 2023 - 2024, there are 4 Odisee University College students coming to practice and participate in free English teaching for students at UED and students at primary schools in the Danang city.
After spending nearly 3 months at the UED, Belgian students all said they had many beautiful memories with the staff, lecturers, and students here. Not only exchanging expertise and practicing English teaching skills for UED students, Odisee University College students also participate in many student activities organized by the University, Youth Union, Student Association and faculties such as: International Student Exchange Festival, Folk Culture Festival… Lisa- students from Odisee University College shared “Internship progress at UED and primary schools help me learn a lot of knowledge as well as apply new teaching methods. Especially, thanks to the help and the facilitation of the Board of Rectors, faculties, departments as well as instructors, we are able to easily complete the internship without encountering any difficulties.

UED has been implementing cooperation programs to exchange lecturers and students with a number of universities in the world. This is a practical activity to improve the integration capacity of lecturers and students of the University. Welcoming international students to intern and exchange expertise at the University is also an opportunity for UED students to learn about learning styles, developing communication skills, and improving foreign language skills… partially perfecting ourselves to meet the needs of today's internationalized labor market.
