Meeting with The Education University of Hong Kong
On November 30, in order to strengthen the international cooperation in training and scientific research, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) worked with the representatives of the Education University of Hong Kong (EUHK).
From EUHK, there was the participation of Dr. Lee Kwai Sang - Associate Dean of Graduate School, The Education University of Hong Kong; Ms. Poon Sin Yi Teresa, Chief of staff of Graduate School.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of Dr. Nguyen Van Sang – Deputy Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Sang expressed his happiness and honor when welcoming and working with the representatives of EUHK. He also insisted that the exchange activities and cooperation between two institutions are the meaningful activity, help two institutions. From here, Dr. Nguyen Van Sang introduced some information about UD-UED such as: the facilities, staff education, educational quality, mission and goals in the future.
At the meeting, the representatives of the Education University of Hong Kong introduced about the Hong Kong Doctoral Scholarship (HKPFS) for candidates with good academic background and research potential in the fields of science education, social sciences and humanities. Specially, the scholarship has a monthly stipend of 27,600 Hong Kong dollars (~86,165,000 VND) for three years and a research and conference – related travel allowance of 13,800 Hong Kong dollars (~43,080.000 VND) per year. Thereby creating favorable conditions for student exchange, improving the quality of education and international cooperation.
UD-UED and EUHK had an exciting and effective meeting. Two institutions proposed a plan for joint activities, especially cooperation in exchange and training of international students between the two institutions.
