Meeting with Teesside University, United Kingdom
On October 4, 2023, in order to strengthen the international cooperation in training and scientific research, The University of Danang – University of Science and Education (UD-UED) met and worked with Teesside University, United Kingdom.
From Teesside University, there was the participation of Mr. Chai Chan Loong, Assistant Regional Manager - South East Asia.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan - Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation; Dr. Phan Thi Hoa, Deputy Head of Department of Academic Affairs.

Making the speech at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan expressed his happiness and honor to welcome and work with Teesside University. This was the opportunity to connect and cooperate between two universities. Thereby, promote the international cooperation in training and scientific research. From there, he also emphasized that UD-UED attaches great importance to improve the quality in many fields: training, scientific research, learner work… towards internationalization. The cooperation with the world’s advanced universities is one of the opportunities for UD-UED to achieve the development goals and strategies.
At the meeting, two units introduced about the history of formation, development, research and training activities as well as achievements over the past years, especially cooperation and exchange activities and training international students at two institutions.
The representative of Teesside University, United Kingdom expressed the gratitude to UD-UED’s leaders for taking the time to welcome him. Based on the results of the exchange, he hoped to continue strengthen the cooperation with UD-UED on many more fields. From there, UD-UED aims to strengthen and develop the outstandings of two institutions to help students have an effective and quality learning environment.
