On November 2, the representatives of Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand visited and worked with UD-UED, also signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in exchange students 7+1 program.

From Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand, there was the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Warangkana Nibhatsukit, Dean of Faculty of Arts; Ms. Naowarat Patipatpakdee, Assistant Dean of Faculty of Arts.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of Dr. Bui Bich Hanh, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Sang, Deputy Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation; Dr. Phan Thi Hoa, Deputy Head of Department of Academic Affairs; MA. Huynh Bong, Deputy Head of Student Affairs; MA. Nguyen Thi Le Quyen, Vice Dean of Faculty of Arts Education; Dr. Dam Nghia Hieu, Vice Dean of Faculty of Literature and Linguistics.

The representatives of Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand visited and worked at UD-UED
 At the meeting, two institutions discussed and signed MoA for the implementation on exchanging students 7+1 program for Asian Studies, Vietnamese. Thereby, students of Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand will have a semester in Viet Nam for 5 months. The first group of students will begin their study in February 2024. The contents of each semester consist of 7 courses, including about Vietnamese language skills, literature, culture, politics and economy. Moreover, students are encouraged to take part in some extracurricular activities.

  On behalf of UD-UED, Dr. Bui Bich Hanh, Vice Rector insisted that: UD-UED has more than 20 years of experience and the leading strength in the Central Region and Highlands in training Vietnamese language for foreigners. Currently, UD-UED is training international students from more than 20 different countries. We also send students for internships and lecturers to teach at foreign educational institutions. Therefore, hoping this signing and implementing this MoA will help students of Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University have the chance to study, experience in a prestigious and experienced Vietnamese training environment. Students will have one semester to gain knowledge about history, culture, language, and experience in the real Vietnamese social environment. They will have a deeper knowledge base, be a bridge, and be an ambassador to share Vietnamese culture, language, and people with the community. At the same time, this MoA hopes to open up many opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions in many other fields.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Warangkana Nibhatsukit, Dean of Faculty of Art, Silpakorn University, Thailand gave present to UD-UED.
  Silpakorn University was established in 1943, is one of the leading universities in Thailand about Arts and Archaeologists. Before that, in August 2023, UD-UED had signed MoU, the first step for the cooperation between two institutions in training, scientific research and academic exchange.
After the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Warangkana Nibhatsukit and Ms. Naowarat Patipatpakdee visited the Campus, Vietnamese classrooms for international students and learned about the facilities, living conditions, learning environment of students at the campus’s dormitory.
