On September 7, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Trang, Rector of the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) had a meeting with Prof.Dr. Wang Xiucheng, Dean of Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College, Yunnan Normal University, China, thereby agreeing on a number of cooperation programs between the two units.
At the meeting, there was the participation of Prof.Dr. Wang Xiucheng, Dean of Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College, and Ms. Luo Qin, Deputy Director of Vietnamese Language Department of Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College. On the side of UD-UED, there was also the participation of Dr. Nguyen Van Sang, Deputy Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation; Dr. Phan Thi Hoa, Deputy Head of Acadmic Affairs; Dr. Dam Nghia Hieu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Linguistics; MA. Huynh Bong, Deputy Head of Department of Student Affairs.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Trang, Rector of UD-UED warmly extended his greetings to the delegation of Yunnan Normal University for visiting and working at the University. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Trang said that UD-UED and Yunnan Normal University has signed a cooperation agreement and implemented many strategic cooperation programs over the past many years. Especially, on September 5th, the University received 20 students from Yunnan Normal University coming to UD-UED to study. UD-UED always welcomes the promotion of deeper cooperation with Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College in many fields.
Based on the suggestions and discussions, the two sides agreed on a number of cooperation programs: promoting to establish Chinese Language Center at the University; supportingstudents of Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College instudying master's degrees at UD-UED if they meet the Vietnamese language proficiency requirements; organizing professional training sessions for Vietnamese language lecturers of Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College.
After the meeting, the representatives of Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College visited the dormitory and some buildingsto learn about the living and studying conditions forChinese students at UD-UED.
