Meeting with Mahasarakham University, Thailand

 On August 3, 2023 the Faculty of Fine-Applied Art and Cultural Science, Mahasarakham Univeristy visited and worked with the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED).
At the meeting, the delegation of Mahasarakham Univeristy led by Assoc.Prof. Dr. Peera Phanlukthao, Dean of  Faculty of Fine-Applied Art and Cultural Science included more than 15 teachers and students from  Faculty of Fine-Applied Art and Cultural Science.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan, Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation, MA. Nguyen Thi Le Quyen, Vice Dean of  Faculty of Art Education, lecturers and students from Faculty of Art Education.

Making the speech at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan, Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation expressed the warm greetings to the delegation of Mahasarakham Univeristy. Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan made an introduction on training scale and programs at UD-UED and hoped that the visit of Faculty of Fine-Applied Art and Cultural Science would open chances for long-lasting collaborations between the two institutions and particularly the two faculties: Faculty of Fine-Applied Art and Cultural Science, Mahasarakham Univeristy and Faculty of Art Education, UD-UED.

MA. Nguyen Thi Le Quyen, Vice Dean of  Faculty of Art Education also made an introduction on the training programs under the Faculty and shared that there are lecturers from the Faculty doing PhD programs at  Mahasarakham Univeristy. Hopefully, in the coming time, the two faculties will continue to have common activities, especially in the field of art training and performance.

Assoc.Prof. Dr. Peera Phanlukthao expressed the sincere thanks for the warm and thoughtful welcome that UD-UED gave the delegation. After introducing more clearly about the Faculty of Fine-Applied Arts and Cultural Science, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Peera Phanlukthao also hoped that there would soon be an Memorandum of understanding between the two universities on cooperation activities to contribute to promoting and enhancing the cultural and artistic values of the two countries of Vietnam – Thailand in the international arena.

It was found out that there are similarities in mission and training programs between the Faculty of Art Education of UD-UED and the Faculty of Fine-Applied Arts and Cultural Science, Mahasarakham University. Therefore, it is possible to develop opportunities for cooperation between the two faculties  in the future such as: exchange of lecturers and students, cooperation in organizing art performances... In addition, it is also possible for  UD-UED and Mahasarakham University to exchange and cooperate in implementing international and Southeast Asian joint educational projects.
At the meeting, students of the two institutions gave art performances imbued with the culture and traditions of Vietnam and Thailand. On this occasion, the two sides also gave each other presents and agreed to continue to discusss cooperation contents between the two universities and the two faculties: Faculty of Art Education (UD-UED) and Faculty of Fine-Applied Arts and Cultural Science (Mahasarakham University).
