Meeting with Khon Kaen University, Thailand

In order to strengthen cooperation in training and scientific research, on February 3, 2023 the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) had a meeting with Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand.

Attending the meeting, there was 71-member delegation from KKU led by Ms. Charuni Samat – Vice Dean; Mr. Sitthipon Art-in - Vice Dean and Mr.Issara Kanjug - Vice Dean.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of  Dr. Nguyen Van Sang - Deputy Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation; the board of deans and lecturers from Faculty of Psychology and Education.

At the meeting, the two universities had the opportunity to make an  introduction on the history of establishment, development, research and training activities as well as achievements in the field of education achieved in recent years.

Through the discussion and exchange of ideas, the members of the two universities found out that there were educational fields suitable for conducting research cooperation, specifically in specialized fields of psychology, education and social work.
The meeting ended in a warm, open atmosphere and opened up opportunities for cooperation possibilities in the near future.

“Khon Kaen University (KKU) was established as the major university in the northeastern part of Thailand in 1964 and has since devoted itself to becoming one of the top universities in Thailand. The university’s major mission is to prepare future global citizens to work in a continually changing world. KKU’s strategic goal is to be recognized both internationally and regionally as a leading university in research. KKU currently has more than 40,000 students studying in 19 faculties, 3 colleges, 1 school, and 2 campuses.
