Meeting with Silpakorn University, Thailand

In order to strengthen cooperation in training and research, on February 24, 2023 the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) had a meeting with Silpakorn University, Thailand.

Attending the meeting, there was the delegation from Silpakorn University led by Dr. Pipu Boosabok - Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Asian Studies Program.
From UD-UED, there was the participation of Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan - Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation, the representatives from Faculty of Literature and Linguistics and Faculty of History.

Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan made the speech
Making the speech at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan extended the warm greetings to the delegation from Silpakorn University. The representatives make an  introduction on the university as well as outstanding features and shared that UD-UED would be ready to cooperate with Silpakorn University.
Dr. Pipu Boosabok made the speech
Representing Silpakorn University, Dr. Pipu Boosabok expressed the gratitude to the University's leaders for taking the time to welcome the delegation. On the results of the discussion, Dr. Pipu Boosabok expressed his wish that the two universities would sign a memorandum of understanding in the near future, and then develop the agreements for specific activities on student exchange.
The meeting ended in a warm, open atmosphere and opened up opportunities for cooperation in the near future.
Silpakorn University is presently under the supervision of the Office of the Higher Education Commission, the Ministry of Education. It was founded in 1943 by an Italian art professor named Corrado Feroci with the Thai name Silpa Bhirasri when he became a Thai citizen. Silpakorn University is a leading institution in Thailand for fine arts and archeology. There are about 7000 students.”
