The 301st AUN-QA Programme Assessment at the University of Danang – University of Science and Education (UD-UED) and University of Foreign Languages Studies (UD-UFLS) took place from October 31 to November 4, 2022. The assessed training programs included: Bachelor of Chemistry Education, Bachelor of Philology Education, Bachelor of Mathematics Education (UD-UED) and Bachelor of Oriental Studies (UD-UFLS).

On the morning of October 31, 2022, the opening ceremony was held at UD-UED. At the opening ceremony, there was the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharul Tazrajiman Hj Tajuddin, Chief Assessor of the 301st AUN-QA Programme Assessment; Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen- the local verifier and distinguished AUN-QA Assessors, AUN-QA Secretariat from Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore.
From the University of Danang (UD) and its member universities, there were participants including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of UD; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Trang – Rector of UD-UED; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Huu Phuc - Rector of UD-UFLS, and representatives of member universities, lecturers and students of the faculties having the programs assessed.

Making the speech at the opening ceremony, Dr. Bui Bich Hanh – Vice Rector of UD-UED emphasized “We believe that the ASEAN University Network, with the purpose of increasing quality of higher education institutions within the ASEAN region, will support our universities in getting excellent evaluation and feedback for further improvement to educational quality. I hope we will continue to strengthen the partnership and the collaboration between the ASEAN University Network and the University of Danang.”

On behalf of the AUN-QA assessors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharul Tazrajiman Hj Tajuddin made a speech to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of UD and its member universities in improving the quality of higher education in the region and integrating with the world. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharul Tazrajiman Hj Tajuddin congratulated the two universities, affirming that AUN-QA would continue to accompany UD and universities in their noble mission.

At the closing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharul Tazrajiman Hj Tajuddin - Chief Assessor of the 301st AUN-QA Programme Assessment expressed the gratitude to the leaders of the University of Danang, as well as the University Council, the Board of Rectors, lecturers, staff, students, and employers of UD-UED and UD-UFLS for making the assessment be implemented effectively. Also at the Closing Ceremony, the AUN-QA assessors presented the final report on the evaluation of 4 training programs. The AUN-QA assessors highlighted the strengths of programs, and gave advice for the improvement.

.Making the speech at the closing session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc - Rector of UD-UFLS recognized the enthusiastic, serious and professional working spirit of the assessors. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc also expressed the gratitude to the Organizing Committee, the departments and faculties of UD-UED and UD- UFLS for their great efforts in preparing for this important event. The comments from the assessors on the strengths and weaknesses as well as the advice for the improvement will motivate and encourage staff members of the two universities to continue to improve the training quality to meet the needs of society in the trend of integration and development.
