UD-UED extends congratulations to Consulate General of Lao PDR in Da Nang on the occasion of Lao traditional Bunpimay 2566
On the morning of April 10, 2023, the delegation of The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED), led by Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan – Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation visited and congratulated the Consulate General of Lao PDR in Da Nang on the occasion of Lao traditional Bunpimay 2566. Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang - Consul General in Da Nang chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of The University of Danang - University of Science and Education, Dr. Nguyen Quy Tuan – Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation extended the congratulations to the Consul General.
In return for the University ‘s congratulations, the Consul General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang, Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang expressed his sincere gratitude to the University. He was also happy that the Danang Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang city, and UD-UED held Lao Bunpimay Festival 2566 at UD-UED campus with unique cultural activities, contributing to tightening the friendship between the two countries.
Currently, there are more than 180 Lao students at UD-UED, which has a tradition of more than 20 years of training Lao students. The Lao students of the University have made important contributions to the development of the country after graduation. In 2020, the University was honored to be awarded the 3rd class Labor Medal by the President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic for its important contributions in training human resources for the southern and central provinces of Laos.
