Commendation Ceremony for the Laotian student having contributed to the development of The University of Danang – University of Science and Education in the management and training of Laotian students
 In order to recognize the contributions of international students in general and Laotian students in particular to the University's development in the management and training of international students, and at the same time to promote the relationship with the Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Da Nang city, on the afternoon of July 1, 2021, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education held the "Commendation Ceremony for the Laotian student having contributed to the development of The University of Danang – University of Science and Education in the management and training of Laotian students ".

In the ceremony, there was the participation of Mr. Kongma Vongsengchanh – First Secretary of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang city. The participants from The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) included Dr. Bui Bich Hanh, Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Van Sang - Deputy Head of Department of Science and International Cooperation (DSIC); MA. Huynh Bong - Deputy Head of Department of Student Affairs and other staff members of the University. In addition, there were representatives of Laotian students currently studying at UD-UED.

Making a speech at the ceremony, Mr.Kongma Vongsengchanh – First Secretary of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang city said: The University of Danang - University of Science and Education is one of the institutions offering training courses on Vietnamese Language for Foreigners with the high quality curriculum and teaching methods. Besides, UD-UED is the university with a tradition of teaching Vietnamese to Lao students before they take undergraduate and postgraduate programs at other universities. Over the years, thousands of Lao students have been studying at the university. We really feel secure and always appreciate the efforts and teaching outcomes of The University of Danang - University of Science and Education … In addition to having innovative teaching methods, the lecturers of the University have always shown the tireless care for the Lao students. We hope that these good qualities will always be preserved and become more and more noble.”
Simultaneously, Mr. Kongma Vongsengchanh also expressed his deepest gratitude to the University for always showing interest in Lao students and hoped that Lao students would keep the tradition of making contributions to the development of the university.

Khanty Divixay shared: “Being able to study at The University of Danang - University of Science and Education, I feel very fortunate. I have always received the help from Vietnamese lecturers and friends, and learned skills in teamwork, scientific research and gained a lot of knowledge. I will share my learning experience in Vietnam with my friends after I return home.”

Over the years, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education has developed and affirmed its position as a prestigious institution offering Vietnamese language training courses to foreign students at The University of Danang.
