University of Science and Education: Visiting the Consulate General of Lao People's Democratic Republic on the occasion of 46th National Day
On the morning of morning of November 29, 2021, the delegation of The University of Danang - University of Science and Education, led by Dr. Bui Bich Hanh – Vice Rector visited and congratulated the Consulate General of Lao PDR in Da Nang on the 46th anniversary of Laos’ National Day (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2021). Mr. Viengxay Phommachanh - Consul General in Da Nang chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of The University of Danang - University of Science and Education, Dr. Bui Bich Hanh – Vice Rector of the university extended the congratulations to the Consul General on the 46th anniversary of the National Day.

Expressing the delight at the great achievements in recent years in all fields, especially education, Dr. Bui Bich Hanh affirmed that University of Science and Education would continue to maintain and develop a close relationship with the Consulate General of Lao PDR in Da Nang city. Especially, the university will constantly innovate and improve the quality of training to meet the needs of Lao students who are studying and will study at the university. At the same time, the university and the lecturers will always give the deepest affection and concern to the Lao students... Then, the university will actively contribute to strengthening the cooperation in the field of education between the University of Danang - University of Science and Education and Lao PDR.

According to Dr. Bui Bich Hanh, in the past year, despite being severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the training progress and life of Lao students have always been concerned by the University and recently the event “The University of Danang - University of Science and Education was awarded the Third-class Labor Medal by he President of the Lao PDR” has left a deep impression in the hearts of generations of lecturers and students of the University. This is a recognition of the outstanding achievements and important contributions of the University to the cause of education and training, providing high quality human resources to the localities of Laos, strengthening cooperation in education between Vietnam and Laos.
In return for the University ‘s congratulations, the Consul General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang, Mr.Viengxay Phongmachanh expressed his sincere gratitude to the University for the support in training Lao students for many years. He hoped that the university would maintain the good tradition and continue to train generations of Lao students in the coming years. It is hoped that generations of Lao students studying in Vietnam will acquire knowledge, skills and improve their capacity to build a beautiful and strong Laos. In particular, it is they who will contribute to promoting the special traditional friendship between the two countries to a new height, making the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos forever steadfast.
