MoU Signing Ceremony between The University of Danang – University of Science and Education and Guizhou Minzu University (P.R.China)

In order to expand the cooperative relationship in training and scientific research, on the morning of June 9, 2021, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education held the MoU Signing Ceremony between the University and Guizhou Minzu University, China. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the signing ceremony was conducted online.

The final contest "I am a global citizen": Young people and international affairs

In order to create a useful and healthy playing-field for students, on the evening of April 23, the Faculty of History, The University of Danang-University of Science and Education held a final contest "I am a global citizen". The final night attracted nearly 400 students to participate in and cheer for the teams.

“Open Day” at the University of Danang – University of Science and Education

In the framework of the MOMA project, on the morning of April 18, 2021, The University of Danang – University of Science and Education organized the "Open Day”. This is an opportunity for students to experience the world of sciences through experimental models, products on display, arousing secondary school and high school students’ love for sciences and giving them career orientation.

Meeting Lao students on the occasion of Bunpimay Festival

On the morning of April 13, 2021, The University of Danang – University of Science and Education solemnly held the program "Meeting Lao students on the occasion of the Bunpimay Festival in 2021 and at the end of the Vietnamese language training course for the academic year 2019-2020. ". This activity aims to create a joyful, exciting, motivating, learning spirit for Lao students and to widely introduce the cultural beauty of Laos.

On the morning of April 7, 2021, the delegation of The University of Danang – University of Science and Education led by Dr. Bui Bich Hanh - Vice Rector of the University visited Mr.Viengxay Phongmachanh - Consul General, his wife and all the staff of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang on the occasion of Bunpimay – Laos’ traditional New Year Festival.

On the afternoon of March 18, 2021, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education cooperated with the International Cooperation Department - The University of Da Nang to hold the meeting with Laotian students about the admisstion procedures for the academic year 2021 - 2022.

Congratulating the Consulate General of Lao People's Democratic Republic on Laos’ National Day

On the morning of December 1, 2020, the delegation of The University of Danang - University of Science and Education, led by Dr. Nguyen Van Sang - Deputy Head of Science and International Cooperation Department visited and congratulated the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang on the 45th anniversary of Laos’ National Day (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2020). Mr. Viengxay Phommachanh-Laotian Consul General in Da Nang chaired the meeting.

THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON “HIGHER EDUCATION IN VIETNAM AND ASIAN COUNTRIES: SIMILARITIES AND POSSIBILITIES OF COOPERATION”

On the morning of November 28, 2020, The University of Danang - University of Science and Education organized the international conference on: “Higher education in Vietnam and Asian countries: similarities and possibilities of cooperation”. The conference created an international forum for educational institutions and organizations, experts and scientists to publish new research results, promote academic exchanges, seek opportunities for cooperation, find out solutions to the current situations and provide orientations to develop higher education in Vietnam and Asia currently.

University of Science and Education: Meeting with National Taiwan Normal University

In order to promote cooperation in the field of training and scientific research, on 11/10/2019, The University of Danang- University of Science and Education met and worked with the delegation from National Taiwan Normal University.

Articles published in international journals are considered “the measurement” for the assessment of scientists; however, this indicator is now considered a big challenge for young researchers. Thus, on the morning of 09/10, The University of Danang- University of Science and Education held a meeting with Prof. Duong Tran Quang with the title “How to publish in international journals”.

AUN-QA Programme Assessment: Physics Teacher Education Program

On the morning of October 9th, the opening ceremony of the AUN-QA Programme Assessment for 1 training program: Physics Teacher Education Program (the University of Danang - University of Science and Education) and 03 training programs: Architecture, Construction economics, Civil Engineering (the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology) took place at the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology.

On the morning of April 23rd, at the University of Da Nang (41, Le Duan street), the Council for Professor Title of the University of Danang (UD) was authorized by the State Council for Professor Title of Vietnam to solemnly held the Awarding Ceremony of Certificate of Proficiency and Decision on Appointment of Associate Professor in 2018.

On the afternoon of April 16, Dr. George T. Sipos – Director of International Education and Senior International Officer, the College at Brockport and Ms. Susan Hermann – Director of the SUNY Brockport Program, visited and worked at the University of Science and Education – the University of Danang (UED). After many intense competition days at the 10th National Chemistry Olympiad 2018, the team of University of Science and Education- the University of Da Nang (UED) excels in winning 03 Second Place prizes, 02 Third Place prizes, ranking in the top 10 excellent teams of the competition.

Under the permission of the UED Board of Rectors, on April 8, the Management Board of Lao students at the UED organized the traditional festival of Bunpimay 2561 ( in Buddhist calendar) for their members.

Internal quality assessment in University of Science and Education

To examine the preparation for external quality assurance of University of Science and Education, the University of Danang (UD), UD has established a team of internal quality assurance to carry out the assessment at University of Science and Education in two days from 19-20 November 2015.

The Mathematical Olympiad team of University of Education – The University of Danang (UE – UD) won 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 3 third prizes in the 2017 National Mathematical Olympiad for students.
