Announcement on Application and Admission to Master's Programs for Foreigners in Phase 2 of 2023

Pursuant to the Decision No. 2095/QD-ĐHSP dated November 2, 2021 of the University of Education - the University of Danang on the promulgation of Regulations on enrollment for master's degree;

               Pursuant to the Master's degree enrollment plan in 2023 of the University of Education - the University of Danang.

               The University of Danang – Univeristy of Science and Education would like to announce the Application and Admission to Master's Programs for Foreigners in Phase 2 of 2023, as follows:

   • Training duration: form 18 months to 24 months ( 1,5 – 2 years)
   • Traning form: fulltime or partime (weekends)
4. Tuition fee and support policies

               - Foreign students under the Agreement: standards, regimes, and training costs are implemented in accordance with current regulations by the Ministry of Finance and international treaties of which Vietnam is a member.

               - Foreign students not under the Agreement:

               + Tuition fees for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024: according to the Annoucement No. 763/TB-ĐHSP dated July 25, 2022 by the Rector of the University of Danang – Univeristy of Science and Education;

           + The roadmap for increasing tuition fees by year is in accordance with the State's regulations.

           - Foreign students under other scholarships: depending on the scholarships granted.

       5. Requirements for admission

       a) Requirements on qualifications:

       - Having a university degree in the right major relevant to or close to the one which a candidate registers to take master's degree training. Those having a university degree in the major close to the one they register have to supplement the knowledge prescribed by the University.

       - Candidates applying for the research-oriented training programs must have graduated with a good or excellent degree or have a scientific publication related to the field they will study and research.

       - Candidates having degrees in different majors can register the applied orientation programs on “Educational Management” or “Resources and environmental management” after supplementing the knowledge prescribed by the University.

       b) Requirements on supplementing knowledge

       Candidates who are required to take additional modules have to register at Department of Academic Affairs, the University of Danang – University of Science and Education; 459 Ton Duc Thang, Lien Chieu District, Danang city; Telephone: 0236.3841618 (114).

       c) Requirements on working experience

       Candidates having degrees in different majors and registering the programs on “Educational Management” or “Resources and environmental management” must have at least 02 (two) years of working experience in the field calculated from the time of receiving the university degree to the date of registration, certified by the working place.

       d) Requirements on foreign language

Candidate shall have Vietnamese language proficiency Level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners, specifically as follows:

        - Having a Vietnamese Language Proficiency certificate from Level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners;

               - Having graduated from a university (or equivalent level or higher) where the training program is taught in Vietnamese; 

               - Candidates who do not have the degrees or certificates mentioned above can take the one - year Vietnamese language course at the University and then take the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test to get Level 4 or higher (according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners).

       6. Application documents

       a) Registration form for foreigners studying in Vietnam

       b) Copied version and Vietnamese translation version of the university degree and transcript;

       c) Language certificates or degrees;

       d) Certified CV (within 03 months to the time of document submission);                                                           e) Health certificate (within 06 months to the time of document submission);

       f) Copy of passport with valid date for the entire period of study in Vietnam or at least 01 year from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam;

       g) Proof of payment of application fee;

       h) 04 photos (4x6) within 06 months to the time of submission;

       i) Decision on assigning the students to go abroad by the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports (for Lao students)

       7. Application Fee

       Application fee: 200,000VND/candidate/application document

       Candidates pay fees in one of the following ways:

       - In-person

       At Department of Planning - Finance (Building A2-203), UD-UED; Tel: 0236.3841618 (109).

       - Transfer

      + Account holder: Trường Đại học Sư phạm - Đại học Đà Nẵng (the University of Danang – University of Science and Education);

      + Account number: 56010001161647; Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

      + Content of transfer: Major code, full name, date of birth, phone number and reason for fee payment.

8. Date of admission:

       - Application submission: from the date of announcement to the end of  06/10/2023 (Friday)

       - Admission results: expected on 31/10/2023

       - Date of enrollment: 11/2023
