ANNOUNCEMENT 2021-2022
On the Vietnamese Language Course for Laotian and Cambodian students in the academic year 2021 -2022
Pursuant to Decision 640/QD-ĐHĐN dated February 1, 2016 by the President of The University of Danang, promulgating the Regulation on the management of foreigners studying at The University of Danang, member universities and affiliated units;
Pursuant to Decision No. 411/QD-BGDĐT dated February 13, 2020 by the Minister of Education and Training on assigning The University of Danang - University of Science and Education the tasks of training, assessing and issuing Vietnamese language proficency certificates to foreigners;
Based on Laotian and Cambodian students’ need for learning Vietnamese language.
The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) would like to announce the plan for the Vietnamese Language Course in the academic year 2021-2022, as follows:
1. Method of Admission
Considering applications
2. Training Curriculum and Duration
- Training curriculum: from degree 1 to degree 4, the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners.
- Training duration: 10 months (from September 2021 to June 2022).
3. Fees
- Tuition fee: 11,500,000 VND/course/academic year.
- Visa fee: 500,000 VND/student/time.
- Fee for Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test: 1,500,000 VND/student/test.
- Dormitory fee: 120,000 VND/student/month.
4. Candidates for Admission
Candidates are Laotian and Cambodian students, including:
a. Students graduating from all general education levels;
b. Students of vocational schools;
c. College and university students;
d. Post-graduate students;
e. PhD students;
f. Students of the training and professional development programs;
g. Students of short-term exchange;
h. Students of internship programs.
5. Priority policies
Priority policies are implemented in accordance with regulations of the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education and Training
6. Application for admission
a. Application document
Candidates submit 01 application document in Vietnamese or English to The University of Danang at least 02 months before the admission time:
- Application document includes:
+ Registration form (Application form);
+ Certified copies or translations of diplomas and academic results for each level of education and training of the competent authority of the sending country;
+ A health certificate issued by a competent medical institution of the sending country or a medical institution at the provincial, municipal or central level of Vietnam certifying that he or she is healthy enough to study and issued within 06 months to submission date;
+ A certified copy or translation of the birth certificate;
+ A copy of proof of financial support for studying and living in Vietnam;
+ A copy of the passport that is valid for the entire period of study in Vietnam or at least 01 year from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam;
+ 04 4x6 photos taken within 06 months from the date of application submission (photo taken with white background);
+ Other documents at the request of the University of Danang.
